One of the key factors in changing expectations for CFOs is a new concept of value. Where earning per share or other financial metrics were the most important indicators, value has been expanded to encompass a wide range of rapidly evolving trends and key considerations, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns. Therefore, in this session Vincent Blok, CFO of Sodexo Netherlands, will share his vision and insights on why sustainability became a key element of Sodexo’s proposition, how this is imbedded in their strategic execution, what his role is in driving change and how a renewed digital strategy accelerates this transformation. You are most welcome to join!
Vincent Blok, Sodexo
Vincent has an extensive track record in leading successful finance and business transformations, integrations and M&A projects. In his role as CFO of Sodexo Netherlands, he reports to the CEO of Sodexo Netherlands and the CFO Sodexo Continental Europe. Sodexo is a French worldwide leading firm in food & facility management services and has a country organisation in The Netherlands (approx. annual € 200 million + revenues and 1,400 FTE). Vincent is enthusiastic about sharing his vision on the expanding role of the CFO and welcomes you to participate in a lively discussion
Once, the CFO led a team that prepared information on historic financial results and trends and set limits on spending. Now, management and other stakeholders are increasingly turning to CFOs to be value-adding business partners who can provide greater insights on emerging trends and on how to use financial reporting data in decision-making.
