Digital Factory Tour: Industry 4.0. at Schneider Electric

During this session, Schneider Electric will provide insights in how industry 4.0. is implemented at their most hight tech factory in Le Vaudreuil (France). Augmented reality, machine learning, cybersecurity, IoT, connected buildings and machines, cobotization and robotization, lean manufacturing software and automatic guidance vehicles are all implemented to ensure that the 360 employees reinvent their relation to the machines.
The final goal? Increase productivity, competitiveness, employee safety, reduce the carbon footprint and gaining real-time insights into the production line.

Sander van Dasselaar has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Strategy & Innovation at the Open University of the Netherlands. He has a strong background in Industrial Automation started his career at Yokogawa and has been working for Schneider Electric for 13 years, for both companies he fulfilled various sales and marketing roles. For the last two years he has been responsible for Schneider Electric as Vice President for the Business Unit Industry for Belgium and the Netherlands.

Virginie Rigaudeau has been working at Schneider Electric for over 25 years. For the last 4 years, she has been communicating about the current development concerning industry 4.0. at the factory Le Vaudreuil and during this session she will give you key insights on what it takes to achieve a successful brownfield transformation.
