As part of the Smart Industry transformation, IT and OT alignment within an organisation are becoming increasingly critical for businesses. After all, by aligning IT and OT value is produced in a variety of areas. Whereas formerly several processes were still completed manual, the adaptation of various smart systems guarantees more efficiency and effectiveness. These types of advances are positive, but how can you apply as much digitalisation as feasible when you have multiple business divisions that are vastly different? How do you secure alignment and overcome differences between these divisions? And how do you make sure manual processes are digitised correctly?
