Rethinking Net Zero with Eneco: Pragmatic Strategies for Realistic Climate Action

November 28, 2024

During this Vision Dinner, Karen de Lathouder, COO Assets at Eneco, will share her own perspective on how to approach the energy transition and climate crisis in a more pragmatic way, one which is realistic for both companies and governments. How do you shift your focus towards smaller but realistic short- and midterm goals? How do you keep the balance between environmental impact and economic feasibility? What impact does that have on a company but also on a national level when politics get involved? And how can we work together to achieve the goals that impact everyone equally?

Pragmaticism and progress, rather than perfection is the way to go according to Karen de Lathouder, COO Assets at Eneco since waiting for new technologies or solutions costs time that we do not have. But how do you strike the perfect balance between people, planet and profit?
