Information
Topic

As a large multinational, it can be challenging to form a community within the international workforce network. How do you engage many people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures? ING Wholesale Banking wanted to tackle this problem in their COO department, which covers 4000 employees spread over 40 countries. ING's employee engagement strategy focuses on increasing employee satisfaction by getting people engaged and enthusiastic about ING's strategy and involving them in topics they value. The final goal is clear: satisfied employees can deliver greater ultimate value to clients. Josje Schiltmans, Head of Employee Experience at ING Wholesale Banking COO, has developed this program from strategy to operations.
