Tamires has a background in economics and business intelligence, with prior experience in commercial and marketing roles at Bayer in Brazil. After relocating to the Netherlands to pursue a master’s degree in data science, she joined the Port of Rotterdam in November 2022. In her current role, Tamires leads the development of an Insights & Analytics team, driving data insights development and activation within the commercial department. The commercial departments focuses on managing customer relationship, developing new businesses and promoting the sustainable and digital transition of the Port of Rotterdam ecosystem.
The Port of Rotterdam is digitally transforming to stay competitive by using algorithms and interconnected systems to optimize logistics, improve efficiency, reduce energy waste, and attract more freight. As Head of Data Insights at Port of Rotterdam, Tamires Beltrão leads the Insights & Analytics team in advancing data activation within the commercial department, supporting both sustainability and digital transformation efforts. Her team works closely with the business units to define KPIs, optimize data workflows, and to ensure that data insights guide the way to reach strategic goals.
