Navigating the Future of AI Implementation with KPN

December 11, 2024

During this Vision Dinner on the 11th of December, Winifred will take you along KPN’s transformative journey of AI within KPN. Part of this journey is the implementation of (generative) AI which KPN has divided into different waves from experimenting with isolated use-cases to scaling up the technology: with the mission to use (Gen)AI in daily operations. While KPN is currently aiming to move from scaling-up to implementing AI in operations, Winifred is happy to share with you her lessons-learned, current obstacles, and outlook for the future.

Information
Topic

The EU AI Act has been in effect since August of this year and that does not only impact companies that develop AI-systems but also users of AI-systems. Winifred Andriessen, Director AI Excellence Center at KPN has been highly involved in preparing KPN for the final implementation of the AI Act with maturity scans and judicial scans. Most important for Winifred in this process though, is to make AI fit KPN’s strategy and not the other way around.
