Topic

Companies may have diverse hiring practices, however without creating an inclusive workplace this diversity will never be retained. Hence, Ahold Delhaize has the ambitious goal of attaining 100% inclusiveness, 100% gender-balance and having a workforce that is 100% reflective of their clientele. To support this endeavour Ahold Delhaize introduced the life events framework. This framework is a holistic approach to employee well-being that goes beyond traditional policies such as maternity. Within this framework Tanya, CHRO Europe & Indonesia at Ahold Delhaize, has actively supported the "gender transition policy". By having meaningful conversations surrounding various life events impacting the workforce, companies foster policies that truly support inclusivity. This, as Tanya advocates, leads to an inclusive workplace that allows you to retain your diversity.
