In late 2022, the Board of Directors of the MUMC+ communicated an ambitious goal: to become the national leader in digital healthcare by 2025. The vision to lead in digital healthcare required not only innovation but also a fundamental overhaul of the organization's digital infrastructure. To realize their vision, MUMC+ recognized the critical need to rebuild their internal digital foundation. This foundational work aimed to optimize conditions for digital progress.
This directive put the spotlight on Paul Hillman, CIO + Director Medical Technology at MUMC+ who was entrusted with the responsibility of driving this transformative agenda within the organization. At this Vision Dinner, Paul will take you through the strategy and practical implications. His presentation will be the prelude to a discussion with him and the other participants, in which we will address, among other things, how to maintain a strong focus on innovation while simultaneously working on foundational improvements.
