Information
Topic

As part of the 100 largest food companies in the world, Vion has more than 12,000 employees, 60% of whom in 2020 were hired via third-party labour providers. As of 2021, a new law in Germany required companies to employ workers for their core business direct, rather than hiring them through flex agencies. Due to this new law, Vion also became responsible for their housing and commute. Binne Visser will elaborate on the huge shift Vion has made in its workforce structure, as it started in January 2021 with approximately 65% directly hired personnel.
