Gijs has been working within Lely for over nine years as CCO. Before, he fulfilled diverse managing roles at Provimi globally for many years. With his specialism in value creation, strategic business planning, and different cultures he aims to digitalise and innovate the sales area at Lely. He believes in creating a unique and uniform customer experience globally. To realise this, Gijs and his team work on creating a starting point and extending it while in the meantime professionalising the aligned sales channels in an omnichannel approach.



Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sales processes’ have changed, while confidence in tools and sales technology that saves time has increased. Therefore, the ability to deal with and embrace change quickly is a success factor in sales. Lely, the agricultural machinery supplier, with an indirect sales model and over 25.000 customers worldwide, is increasingly betting on a digital commercial approach.
