Integrated Security as a Business Enabler: A Keynote Dinner with Alan Lucas, CISO at Homefashion Group

September 18, 2024

Alan Lucas, CISO at Homefashion Group (Leen Bakker and Kwantum), believes in an integrated security approach that is inseparable from the business. Alan emphasizes that security should be a business enabler within organizations. This involves embedding security across all aspects of the company, fostering a culture where every employee understands the protocols for incident handling, reporting, and risk assessment.

Alan will introduce Homefashion Group's 'Cyberrisk Council,' a central body where technology, privacy, and security converge. An important part of the Council is to tackle third-party risk management in an extended risk environment, throughout the supply chain.

Alan will also discuss whether they are moving at the right pace to enable innovation in a controlled manner and how they can support the business's ambitions, including aspects of privacy, security, and technology.
