Tal Arad

Tal Arad started out as an Operational Security Officer in the IDF. After he rejoined the civilian world he held information security positions at Comsec, Orange and Canon before becoming CISO at CEVA Logistics. After that he made his way to Carlsberg where he was Group CISO before becoming CTO in October of this year.

Ori Fragman

Ori Fragman’s career spans back more than a decade and in that time Ori has had too many relevant jobs within cybersecurity to list here. The highlights, however, include a CEO position at Comsec, after which he joined Ahold Delhaize to serve as their VP Information Security for Indonesia & Europe before landing at his current job as CISO of Hapag-Lloyd.

Avit Nederland

All roads might lead to Rome, but when it comes to corporate strategy it is all about the fastest, cheapest or otherwise best road to Rome. In cybersecurity, there is no difference. Ori Fragman, CISO at Hapag-Lloyd and Tal Arad, CTO (former CISO) at Carlsberg, are not only well-regarded security professionals, they are also great friends. Despite the similarities, however, Tal & Ori have radically different approaches to cybersecurity within their respective companies. Where Tal employs a more traditional approach with several larger teams that are responsible for specific parts of the security infrastructure (backed, UI etc.), Ori favors a setup that is more connected to specific platforms and business units with smaller teams that are responsible for end-to-end security of their platform.
