Lead of Innovation Factory

Gert Hans Berghuis has been working at Rabobank since 2019, where he leads the Innovation Factory with coaches, validation experts, open innovation analysts and developers. He has been in innovation for over 20 years as partner at Fabrique. He has extensive experience in supporting and coaching a wide range of Start-Ups and Corporate Ventures in creating appealing Value Propositions & Business models, applying Lean Start-up & Agile and creating an innovation culture. He also teaches at the Department of Industrial Design Engineering at TU Delft, where he himself graduated in 1996.

Corporate innovation can be organised in various ways. An innovation hub can for example autonomously determine its strategy and initiatives, independent of the rest of the organisation. A different approach is to let the business launch new products itself. Should an organisation choose either, or is a mix of both desired? A challenging issue that many companies struggle with.
