Before Michiel became responsible for Operational Excellence at JDE, he filled various positions such as International Retail Trade Director and Director Strategy Out-Of-Home division. Before that, Michiel worked at Unilever, where he set up a channel based retail organisation in Brazil. In the Netherlands, he was responsible for the Ice Cream Division.
