Albert Arp has been CEO of Jaarbeurs - VNU Group since March 2016. Albert started his career in consulting, particularly in the building/construction and healthcare sector. He soon progressed to management positions and became chairman of the Board of Directors of the St Jansdal hospital. During his term of office, the hospital received the award of best hospital in the Netherlands three times. After his appointment at Jaarbeurs, Albert spent the first two years working on making the company future-proof. Since 2018, Jaarbeurs' strategy has been a focus on growth, innovation, technology and sustainability.

The corona crisis has a huge impact on an organization for which physical meeting is the core business. Due to the various measures, planned events could no longer take place and the company had to restructure. Still, Albert Arp remains positive. Contracts are handled again and the company is preparing for a post-corona era. What will the event sector look like after the corona crisis, and how does it deal with changing customer needs? During this executive meeting, Albert Arp shares his vision for the future.
