After studying at Tilburg University, John van Hoof held various financial positions at KPMG, FrieslandCampina and ISS Netherlands. John followed this with 11 years in health and safety services at Maetis and as managing director at parent company Zorg van de Zaak.

He has held his current position, Chairman of the Board at Total Care BV (CSU/Tzorg/Zizo), since 2012. Under the motto 'Sharper. Smarter. Cleaner', family business CSU operates nationwide in the cleaning industry from various branches and employs over 15,500 people. Winning the Koning Willem I Award 2020 in the 'Large Company' category crowns CSU's unique way of working. Sister company Tzorg, with 12,000 employees, is a national provider of domestic support and individual assistance within the Wmo in the home care market. Tzorg operates in over 300 municipalities. Subsidiary Zizo has been the 1st complete professional convenience service on the private market since 2022.
