Capgemini and Flevum would like to invite you to an exclusive evening where Anouk Beeren (Director E-commerce and Marketing at Bidfood) and Freek van den Broek (Global Marketing Manager Digital at DSM) will discuss how they approach the topic of Connected Commerce. They are both in different phases of their Commerce journey but are facing similar challenges.

In 2016 Anouk won the Digital Transformers Award for creating and developing the eCommerce branch of Bidfood (former DeliXL). In this new online platform Bidfood offers 50.000 articles combined with a logistic network. The online knowledge the company has gathered from this process, Anouk wants to use, to consolidate their position and create added value for the company. One of the next steps she is undertaking is the development of an Online Platform that operates as a marketplace for suppliers.

Freek van den Broek, Global Marketing Manager Digital at DSM.
DSM is at the beginning of their Connected Commerce journey. The main reason for Freek to consider selling their products online is the promised increase in efficiency and customer satisfaction. By taking an active role in the customer journey they aim to retain their clients and provide an additional service as a knowledge partner. The big challenge for the company is creating the culture within the company to start this Digital Journey.
